Skill set is something which surpasses the classrooms’ knowledge & a skilled workforce bring an economy ahead. In India, we have most of the population in its young age group for which we need to generate jobs to maintain the balance of the economy as well as the society but what about the illiterate & unskilled/semiskilled people who generally depend on their daily wage? Here Painterwala takes a social welfare step where it is determined to train the labor class people with the painting skill set.
Ironically in our country we generally don’t give enough respect or value to the essential job workers as painters, plumbers, carpenters, etc. & we call them labor instead of a worker or service provider. Here we go with an unique idea to train the daily wage painters & semiskilled or unskilled labors with the wall painting skill set which includes wall putty followed by whitewash, emulsion paint, distemper paint on the walls & some other advanced training of wood polish, metal & wooden paint, wallpaper installation & wall designing – texture & stencil.
Here we are not leaving behind our female workers who have never been counted as the skilled workers or painters & often it has been seen that when their husbands work on the construction sites or at any house/flat/building, they take care of their children at their temporary house (Jhuggi). We are determined to train them so that there could be women empowerment & they could be self dependent in a way to help out their families.
Therefore we come up with a new category of painters- “Female Painters” who can be considered as the most suitable painters for households where families’ female members deal with the painters during the wall painting process. We will initiate it from Delhi NCR- New Delhi, Noida, G. Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad & Gurugram and will move on to the other North Indian states.
